Construction and demolition (C&D) waste — also called construction waste or renovation waste — is the debris generated from building, roadwork, renovation and demolition projects. Its composition is uniquely heavy and abrasive: concrete rubble, bricks, glass, ceramic, steel bars (rebar), wood, packaging, drywall, plastics, and discarded furniture.
